The Ministry of Justice of Russia published for public discussion a revised version of the draft of the new Code of Administrative Offenses. The text of the document is available on the portal of draft regulatory legal acts.

In a commentary to TASS, the Ministry of Justice stressed that the draft of the new Code of Administrative Offenses as a whole will retain the current fines and terms of prosecution.

In addition, the possibility of assigning a warning instead of a fine will be significantly expanded - in the new version, this is provided for in 263 articles (in the current version - in 156 articles).

• The previous version of the draft of the new Code of Administrative Offenses was published for public discussion at the end of January. It provoked criticism both from the government and the State Duma , and from human rights activists . The biggest criticism was the significant increase in fines for breaking the speed limit.
