Forbes magazine has reassessed the fortune of American model Kylie Jenner, reducing its size from a billion dollars to 900 million.
Of these, the model, according to Forbes, received $ 340 million from a deal with Coty, which in November 2019 announced the purchase of Jenner's cosmetics brand.
The rest is the cost of Jenner's stake in Kylie Cosmetics, which, according to Forbes, is not 49%, as claimed, but 44.1%. In addition, the share lost in value due to the impact of the coronavirus epidemic on the economy, the magazine adds.
Forbes also claims that the Jenner family has lied about the size of the business and its success "every year since 2016."
According to the publication, the Jenner family's accountant provided the magazine with tax returns (for Forbes to assess Kylie Jenner's net worth for their ratings) that were "quite likely" to be false.
