Russian President Vladimir Putin declared June 24 a non-working day "in commemoration of the 75th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War." The corresponding decree was published on the Kremlin website.

As follows from the document, parades on June 24 will be held in Moscow and other cities at 10:00 local time.

At 22:00 local time, Putin ordered fireworks.

  • On June 24, Putin postponed the parade in honor of the 75th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War, which was canceled on May 9 due to the COVID-19 epidemic.
