Earlier it was reported that the Vector plans at the end of June of this year to conduct clinical trials of the vaccine from the coronavirus infection Covid-19. Earlier on sensitive animals, specialists conducted research on 25 vaccines options. According to the General Director of Vector, scientists have chosen three drugs, as showing the greatest effectiveness, as well as taking into account the technology of their large -scale production.

In early April, at a meeting of Russian President, Vladimir Putin, Rinat Maksutov, announced the readiness of the center to conduct the first phase of clinical studies of vaccines from coronaviral infection in May. In particular, then Maksutov argued that the center has a plan to conduct preclinic studies of the effectiveness and safety of vaccines until June 22, and by the end of the month with the three most effective vaccines to switch to the first phase of clinical research.

Subsequently, the general director of Vector said that at the first stage of clinical tests of the study vaccine, it is planned to conduct 60 volunteers from both residents of the Novosibirsk region and from other regions.
