Microsoft will replace the editors of the UK version of the MSN portal with algorithms

Microsoft in the UK will not renew the contracts of 27 people from the PA Media agency who deal with news on the MSN (Microsoft Network) portal. It is reported by The Guardian.

PA Media employees will be replaced by algorithms that will select and edit notes.

As The Guardian clarifies, there is no original content on MSN, the news feed consists of texts from different publications, edited to fit the portal format.
