Protests, looting and death. Riots in the largest cities in the United States

One of the policemen, Derek Shovin, came Floyd with a knee on the neck and fell on with all his weight, overwhelming his breath. The mayor of Minneapolis Jacob Frey said at a press conference that there was no flight from the site-the police left the building by his disposal.

The danger was inevitable, and I decided to evacuate the site. The symbolic meaning of the building cannot outweigh the importance of saving life, our police or our citizens. We cannot put anyone under the blow, and we continue to patrol the entire territory of this site. We will continue to fulfill our duties there. Bricks and construction solution are not as important as life.

My police department will always protect the district of Colombia and everyone who is on its territory, regardless of whether I agree with them (as, for example, those who realize their right in accordance with the first amendment * ) or not (namely, with Donald Trump). While he was one shyly hiding behind his fence, I stood with people who peacefully exercised their right - according to the first amendment - after the murder of George Floyd and hundreds of years of institutional racism. There are no ferocious dogs and formidable weapons there. There is only a frightened person.

Finally, the mayor of the Columbia district quoted Martin Luther King:

"We, my friends, have no more choice between violence and non -power. Now this is a choice between non -power and non -existence."

All four police officers who took part in the detention of George Floyd are removed from service until the end of the official audit. Derek Shovin was arrested. He was charged with unintentional murder and random murder, perfect as a result of unlawful actions.
