The human rights activist is not allowed into the special detention center with the arrested truck driver, nor into the courts in his cases

Human rights activist Dinar Idrisov was refused entry to the special detention center in Gatchina (Leningrad Region), where his client, truck driver Dmitry Datov, was detained for 14 days. The staff of the special detention center referred to the order related to the pandemic. They accepted the parcel for Datov, said the human rights activist OVD-Info.

After that, Idrisov went to the judicial precinct No. 74 of the Tosnensky district, where on May 30 Datov was tried under the article on evading administrative arrest (2nd part of article 20.25 of the Code of Administrative Offenses). The human rights activist intended to get a decision, but he was not allowed to pass, citing the fact that the pandemic had not ended.

Then Idrisov received a call from the Tosnensky District Court, where he filed an appeal against the decision of the justice of the peace of the 74th district court in the case of Datov, and was told that he could come to consider the complaint. However, when he arrived, they refused to let him in, demanding a certificate that he was healthy. Idrisov was previously diagnosed with pneumonia. With him to court, he took not only a mask and gloves, but also protective overalls. Idrisov, in a conversation with OVD-Info, stressed that the district court was aware of his illness, which did not prevent them from calling him.

After Idrisov wrote a statement to the Central Internal Affairs Directorate of the Leningrad Region in connection with the refusal to let him into the special detention center, he received a call from the special detention center and was told that he could come. However, this time he failed to get to the client: the employee referred to the internal regulations, according to which no one should be allowed to see the arrested after 17:00. Idrisov noted that this rule does not apply to defenders. This time they did not accept a transfer for Datov.

June 3 00:44 Later, Idrisov learned that the Tosnensky District Court on June 1 did not satisfy the appeal against Datov's arrest. On June 2, when Idrisov arrived at the district court to receive the original decision and the seal on the decision of the magistrate, he learned from the bailiff that two minutes before his arrival, the judge and her assistant ran out of the court building and left. Before arriving at the court, Idrisov called the assistant judge and warned that he would come.

• On May 20, traffic police officers in the Tver region detained Datov in connection with the fact that back in March a court in the Leningrad region ruled on his arrest for ten days. At that time, Datov left the courthouse and was arrested only after his recent detention. Datov was placed in a special detention center in Gatchina.
• On May 30, Datov was detained ten minutes before his release from the special detention center and taken to the judicial precinct No. 74 of the Tosnensky district, where he was arrested for 14 days under the article on evading arrest. The judge ordered the appointment of a lawyer for Datov, refusing to accept the petition, which Idrisov sent to the court district, to adjourn the hearing due to his illness.
• The reason for the March decision to arrest was the detention of Datov on March 11 at the Babinsky traffic police post because he refused to show the documents to the inspector without proper reason. After Datov was detained, a protocol was drawn up under Part 1 of Article 19.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (disobedience to the lawful demands of a police officer).
• Activists of the Association of Carriers of Russia, of which Datov is a member, are fighting against corruption at the Babinsky post. On the day of the decision, the traffic police inspector at the courthouse called the ODA the opposition on truck wheels.
