RIA Fan received a record loss in the amount of more than 50 million rubles per year

Fan LLC, which owns licenses related to Putin’s cook, Evgeny Prigozhin, reported about 50.7 million rubles in 2019. The MBH Media found the relevant information in the financial statements of Spark-Interfax.

Three media are registered on FAN LLC - Politics Today, Journalistic Pravda, as well as RIA Fan. According to the reports, the revenue of Fan LLC last year amounted to 96.6 million rubles, decreasing by 63.1 million rubles, and expenses - 165.2 million rubles. Another 20 million rubles received at the FAN account are “other income”, and 2 million rubles as “other expenses”.

Thus, the loss in 2019 became a record for LLC Fan. Before that, the company was the worst indicator in 2017, then it completed the cycle with a loss of 4.9 million rubles. In other years, the fan recorded a profit: 108 thousand rubles in 2014, 500 thousand rubles in 2015, 7.9 million rubles in 2016 and 10.8 million rubles in 2018.

Also, over the year, 38% reduced the Assets of FAN, dropping to 14.1 million rubles.

According to SPARK, the FAN belongs to the chief editor of the agency Evgeny Zubarev. However, according to the media and the US authorities, the real beneficiary of the agency and a number of related sites is Evgeny Prigozhin.

In 2017, the media called the trolls factory related to Prigozhin, because of their activities on social networks. In 2018, the US Treasury Book Fan and other sites on the sanctions list, accusing them of trying to interfere with the 2016 American elections. Prigozhin himself denied a connection with sites, but in 2019 he headed the board of trustees of the Patriot media group, uniting FAN and other sites of the Troll factory.
