By the number of deaths from the coronavirus Brazil is now in fourth place - almost 30 thousand dead. The United States in this indicator is also in the first place - more than 105 thousand deaths. In second place is the UK, where over 39 thousand patients died from the Covid-19. In the third position, Italy is almost 33 and a half thousand dead. Another European country, which is in the first five according to death statistics, is France. There, the number of dead approaches 29 thousand.

In some parts of the planet, the situation with coronavirus continues to deteriorate, in others, on the contrary, there are signs of a slowdown in the disease. Thus, Spain authorities the day before stated that for the first time since the beginning of the epidemic in the country per day, not a single death from the Covid-19 was recorded. Spain is considered one of the most affected by the pandemic of states.

The day before, a letter of over 220 of the current and former high -ranking politicians, scientists, and public figures to the leaders of the "big twenty" was published. The signing the message called for urgently discussing economic support measures in connection with pandemia. The letter discusses the need to collect two and a half trillion dollars for these purposes and directed assistance, first of all, to develop countries and states with an average level of profit.

The "large twenty" includes countries with a total income of 85 percent of the global gross product. “They are able to mobilize resources,” the letter emphasizes. Among those who signed under the text, more than 75 former world leaders, three Nobel Prize laureates in the field of economics, former Secretary General of the UN Pan Hi Moon, ex-head of NATO Javier Solan, philanthropist George Soros and many others.
