The Altayvagon company abandoned the mass dismissal of employees, faced the lack of workers because of the coronavirus, Interfax said with reference to Alexander Miroshnik, General Director of Altaymash, and the owner of the enterprise. Earlier, Altayvagon was going to dismiss more than a thousand people.

Miroshnik said that the company removed the application previously sent to the employment center. According to him, at the end of March it was planned to reduce more than a thousand people out of 8 thousand employees. The company is now provided with orders and its branch in Kemerovo even opened the reception of employees to execute new contracts.

At the same time, coronavirus influenced the situation with the personnel. At the production sites of Altayvagon in the Altai Territory and the Kemerovo region, "point" situations arise with the identification of the virus among employees.

“The worst thing in this disease is collective responsibility. If one person gets sick, and he works in a team of 20-40 people, then the whole brigade is obliged to sit at a quarantine at home for 14 days, even if these employees do not get sick. We do not have enough people at the factories today, because we left people at home, they do not get sick, but they can’t work,” the myrrhnik explained.
