The Nagatinsky District Court found Alexander Buimov, Oleg Efanov and Konstantin Kamensky, participants in the protests against the construction of the South-Eastern Expressway, guilty under the article on participation in the action, which interfered with the functioning of infrastructures (part 6.1 of article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses). This is reported by lawyers from OVD-Info Nikolai Zboroshenka and Yulia Tregubova.
Environmental activists were fined 10,000 rubles.
- On March 19, 2020, Buimov, Efanov, Kamensky and 60 other people were detained at the Moskvorechye railway platform. Environmental activists opposed the construction of the South-Eastern Expressway on the territory of the radioactive burial ground. In the wake of the protests, law enforcement officers opened a criminal case on damage to the property of the Federal State Unitary Enterprise Radon, which is engaged in radiation monitoring, removal and transportation of radioactive waste from the construction site.
