The BlaBlaCar companion search service announced the resumption of work in Russia after a two-month break due to the coronavirus pandemic, Kommersant reported.
He will provide services in accordance with the recommendations of the Ministry of Health (do not travel with symptoms of SARS, use masks and gloves during the trip, do not shake hands). BlaBlaCar also limited the number of seats for booking to four seats for a car of any size (previously the maximum number of seats was five), and also introduced the option "only one in the back", with which the driver can provide a single seat in the cabin.
At the end of March, the BlaBlaCar service announced the suspension of work due to the coronavirus pandemic: first, the service stopped transporting from Moscow, and then throughout the country. The service was requested by the Moscow authorities, and the BlaBlaCar management itself published a message urging Russians to refrain from traveling.
