The defendants in the case of the "Network" in St. Petersburg extended the term of detention in the pre -trial detention center

The Second Western District Military Court at a visiting meeting in St. Petersburg extended for three months the arrest of the defendants in the case of the “network” Julia Boyarshinov and Viktor Filinkov. This was reported in the broadcast of "Mediazons".

Victor Filinkov and Julius Boyarshinov remain in jail until September 11, earlier the same courtextended them a preventive measure until June. In addition, at the last meeting they were interrogated.

Vitaly Cherkasov’s lawyer noted that the case is at the final stage of consideration, and the accused will not be able to influence the witnesses. The public defender Yevgeny Kulakova drew attention to the fact that because of the borders closed to the pandemic of the Russian court, the citizen of Kazakhstan will also not be able to hide. Julius Boyarshinov lives in St. Petersburg, his lawyer Olga Krivonos petitioned for a change in a preventive measure for house arrest with a prohibition of certain actions.
