Three criminal cases have been opened in Dagestan due to reports of coronavirus being sprayed from helicopters

The Investigative Committee of Dagestan, due to messages in the messenger, opened three criminal cases on fake news (Article 207.1 of the Criminal Code) against local residents, the reports . press service of the department

According to the investigation, in April 2020, the suspects disseminated in the WhatsApp messenger “knowingly false information about circumstances that pose a threat to the life and safety of citizens, namely, information about the involvement in the death of people and the death of poultry in the city of Buynaksk and the Karabudakhkent district of state authorities as a result of spraying a new coronavirus infection COVID-19 from helicopters flying over populated areas.

Currently, the criminal case is under investigation.
