In Vologda, near the building of the regional Ministry of Internal Affairs, a participant in a one-man picket, Anastasia Kosareva, was detained, who was standing with a poster in support of the administrator of the public “Ombudsman of the Police” Igor Khudyakov. Kosareva stood with a poster "Freedom to Igor Khudyakov" in gloves and a mask. A protocol was drawn up against her under the article on violation of the high alert regime (Article 20.6.1 of the Code of Administrative Offenses).

Kosareva was also approached by an employee of the Center "E" (Department for Combating Extremism). “I explained that I went to the picket, but I refused to give explanations,” the girl said.

Igor Khudyakov is one of the administrators of the Police Ombudsman public page. On May 23, 2020, Khudyakov’s house in Vologda was searched as part of a case on the production and trafficking of pornography (paragraphs “a” and “b”, part 3, article 242 of the Criminal Code). After that, he was taken to Moscow, and for some time the police did not let OVD-Info lawyer Maksim Pashkov into his temporary detention facility. The creator of the public, Vladimir Vorontsov, is a witness in the case.

The public covers information about the violation of the rights of employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and criticism of the work of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
One of the latest resonant publications of the “Police Ombudsman” is a recording of a voice allegedly belonging to the head of the Novosibirsk city department, Elena Ustinova, who orders “total” to draw up protocols on violation of self-isolation and work “until there are 10 protocols from each district”, with the link against the decision of the head of the Central Internal Affairs Directorate for the Novosibirsk Region, Yuri Sterlikov. The “Police Ombudsman” called for filing applications for an internal audit. A few days later, Sterlikov resigned, and Ustinova was fired "for negative reasons."
