Petersburg: A resident was fined for a share against a change in the constitution

In St. Petersburg, the court fined 10 thousand rubles of the chairman of Open Russia Anastasia Burakov for the action against amendments to the Russian Constitution. It is reported by "Apology of Protest".

Burakova was one of the 20 detained participants in the protest of the Constitutional Court in St. Petersburg. She laid several cloves near the COP building in protest against a change in the basic law of the country. The court calculated the actions of the activists with a single picket.

Most of the detainees on March 15 near the Constitutional Court building received protocols on violation of the rules of public events.

In March, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed the law on amendments to the Constitution. The Constitutional Court has gathered an emergency meeting to consider amendments on a weekend. The meeting was held closed. As a result, the KS recognized the law on amendments to the Constitution by the relevant basic law of the country.

The Constitutional Court did not call the amendments to “overwhelm” the presidential terms, in fact canceling its previous position on this issue, which in 1998 forbade Boris Yeltsin for the third term. The Constitutional Court did not see the seizure of power if the "person is elected" "repeatedly and in a row", since voting takes place "on the basis of universal equal and direct suffrage."

In addition to the “zeroing” of the presidential terms, amendments to the Constitution provide for: the Constitution of the Russian Federation has a priority over international treaties, the former president of the country is inviolable and may lose the status of a procedure similar to the impeachment procedure; marriage in the constitution is determined by the "union between man and woman"; "The Russian Federation, united by a thousand -year history, preserving the memory of the ancestors who conveyed the ideals and faith in God to us, as well as continuity in the development of the Russian state, recognizes the historically established state unity."

In Russian cities, protests were held against the adoption of amendments. In the north-west, such shares took place in St. Petersburg, Vologda, Pskov, Arkhangelsk and Kaliningrad.
