A participant in a protest against pension reform was asked to serve 2 years in prison in a case of violence against a police officer.

At a meeting in the Oktyabrsky District Court, the prosecutor requested two years in prison for Lyubov Rubleva, a participant in pickets against the pension reform, who is accused of using violence against a police officer (part 2 of article 318 of the Criminal Code). This is reported by MBKh Media with reference to the coordinator of the Human Rights Postcard Alexei Pryanishnikov.

“The prosecutor representing the state prosecution requested 2 years in prison for Rubleva,” the publication reports the words of the human rights activist. - Rubleva slapped a police officer during the illegal detention of her son for holding a solitary picket against pension reform. In the debate, Khomyakov confirmed that the blow was inflicted with a palm on the cheek, while the expert who submitted the initial conclusion on harm to health in the criminal case speaks of a blow to the scalp.

The criminal case is connected with a series of single pickets held by Rublyova and her sons on October 8, 2018 on Cathedral Square in Vladimir. During the action, policemen drove up to them to check the documents and the inscriptions on the posters. According to the protocol, Rubleva and her sons violated public order and used foul language.

As a result, reinforcements arrived at the police, and as a result of the conflict, Lyubov Rubleva allegedly inflicted serious injuries on the arrival of Major Alexei Khomyakov. According to Rubleva herself, writes MBKh Media, the only recorded injury was a slap in the face of a policeman.

Rubleva considers her persecution politically motivated. According to the publication, since 2010 she has been drawing attention to problems in the law enforcement agencies of Vladimir. The accused is the widow of an employee of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and also previously worked in the police for some time.
