The Moscow City Court dismissed an appeal against the administrative arrest of Denis Petrov, a participant in one-man pickets on May 29, 2020 at 38 Petrovka Street, writes Apologiya Protesta, citing lawyer Svetlana Baiturina.
The Moscow City Court considered the decision on 15 days of arrest lawful and justified.
- On June 7, 2020, was detained near the building of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Moscow. eco-activist Konstantin Fokin, who came out to support Petrov, who is under administrative arrest,
- On June 3, 2020, the Tagansky District Court of Moscow found Petrov guilty under the article on repeated violation of the rules for participation in the action (part 8 of article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses). According to the judge, the pickets are “a public mass event that has not been coordinated with the executive authorities.”
