Such a flood on the Kola Peninsula has not been for decades. The rivers emerging from the shores leave people without housing and property, washed bridges cut them off from each other and the rest of the world, entrepreneurs try to save products and equipment from flooded warehouses and workshops. The correspondent of the North. Realiy found out that the consequences could not be so serious if the authorities were preparing for the flood in time, they informed people in time and helped them.

In a water captive

Oleg Reshetnikov and his family lives in a house built by his own hands in the village of Kildinstroy, which in recent days has become known throughout the country due to extensive flooding. Due to the spill of the Kola River, his family was actually in a water captive for several days.

- I was born and raised in Kildinstroy, in 2014 I began to build my house, where we live constantly with the family, here we are registered, this is a hundred meters from the village administration. The son is four months old, there is its own economy. When the spill of the river began, the water rose 40 cm in one night. Two rabbits drowned. Chicken on rafts sit. The basement is flooded, a water supply system, utility rooms, sheds. My wife and child sat for three days, surrounded by water, until I saved them on a boat. Although my house stands on a small hill, it was flooded hard, only 10 centimeters remained to the threshold, a little more-and the water would have flooded the room. And there the laminate was laid, heated the floor. The garden was flooded with us, where we plant potatoes, now no longer up to landing. The neighbors have the same - continuous flooding. Many are registered here, that is, they have no other housing.

According to Reshetnikov, nature is not to blame for great losses. Spills in Kildinstroy happened earlier, the last large was in 1996. But so that everyone was not prepared for the flood, this was not.

- There is nothing to sin on nature. The information from the local authorities has been limped. No one warned - neither the Ministry of Emergencies nor the authorities informed us of the impending emergency. The hotline in the local administration was created, but it is clear that the responsible for it does not own the situation. You call - they answer that there is no forecast, what to do is incomprehensible. I do not ask for help, I myself will restore everything at home - only information is needed, ”he says. - If they knew in advance that a lot of water was expected, and the prognosis of the operational would be brought to everyone - how much water rose, what to wait - they could prepare. And in terms of negligence, the bridge carried the Kildinsky through the stream. The stream separates part of the village with residential buildings, garages, gardens, people went to the store on the bridge, a pharmacy, to the gardens. And now the hook needs to be done for two kilometers, in winter it will not pass at all. Back in 2014, the bridge was put on the balance of the village administration, but no one was engaged in it. Only unsubscribes to questions were sent - you can, they say, go bypass on the road, and this is 10 times longer. And then the children go to school.

Although the Kildinsky bridge is washed off and it is more impossible to use it, the Minister of Information Policy of the Regional Government Alexander Kondaurov, showing reporters a photograph of the structure, said only that "it is difficult to call it a full -fledged bridge."

- The authorities communicate with us only through social networks, they do not always answer. Maybe there would be no such consequences if the ice was blown up on the river in time, so that the water would leave. Dnieving work was previously carried out, sandy sediments were removed in line so that the water did not spill, but now nothing of this is done, ”says Oleg. -As a result, the hospital was flooded, the hospital was flooded-furniture was raised to the 2nd floor, the local shelter was also suboped. Well, the sewage system flowed into the Cola River.

Meanwhile, water is taken from the river downstream for the water supply of Murmansk and a number of villages.

Even more flooded the country town two kilometers from the village - DNT Kildinskoye. Its inhabitants write in social networks that they have equipment and furniture in their homes. The streets move in boats. The high ranks of the Ministry of Emergencies from the capital urgently arrived here, but summer residents do not report some real help. The director of the Department of Civil Defense and Protection of the Population of the Ministry of Emergencies, Oleg Manuilo, who headed the delegation, was only dryly reported during the trip: "At the moment, all tasks are carried out according to the plan. Forces and funds are enough. All decisions on the elimination of the emergency have been adopted." At the same time, on the video - private houses flooded through the windows, floating furniture.

A great resonance in social networks caused the arrival of the head of the district Alexander Likholat. The photo shows that he, along with the employees of the Ministry of Emergencies, arrived in the open body of a truck. The official on the bench and the floor laid a large carpet, and he himself sits in a business suit and varnished shoes, which is very contrasting with pictures of the disaster around.

A similar situation with a flood in a summer village next to the Kola Maingrazkhoz. Private houses there are built on the former fields along the Kola River, now they flooded the road to them, as well as the houses themselves with sections. Most of the residents of the cottages did not have time to react and take out the property that was in the plots and in the houses.

It happened that the river was out of the shores, but not so much. And there were no warnings, ”says a resident of the village of Lyudmila .

The flood affected several more settlements of the Kola district. The houses were injured, a beautiful suspension bridge was demolished in the village of Milk.

Once emergency, two emergencies

But the largest emergency in the Kola region covered by a flood was the collapse of the railway bridge over the river of the stake at the entrance to the district center. The only branch in Murmansk is taking place on it, where passenger trains and goods with cargoes for the Murmansk port and the region go. The construction fell during the repair work against the backdrop of the flood. Now, on the fact of the collapse, the regulatory authorities are conducting inspections.

The authorities of the region hastened to share an emergency with a bridge and an emergency with a flood, for which they were completely not ready. According to the Governor of the Murmansk Region Andrei Chibis, the facts of the connection of the collapse and the uncontrolled flood have been revealed yet.

Now passengers are landing at a day off 20 kilometers from Murmansk, where there is not even a station. From there they are taken on buses with things to the city.

The situation with cargo is more difficult - most of them are not overloaded to vehicles. And this is fuel oil for boiler houses, export goods for the port, partially food. The military forces are building a branch bypassing the bridge, more than five kilometers of the railway canvas are to be laid. They plan to do this within a month, while all trains will go through the city of Cola, whose inhabitants are already afraid of a transport collapse at a crossing in the city center. The collapsed bridge itself will be restored no earlier than four months later.

He suffered from the flood and Murmansk, which even the old -timers of the city do not remember. The River of Growth, the emerging of the shores, flooded the part of the federal highway "Cola", which passes around Murmansk, and the industrial zone, where production and food warehouses are located. Warehous employees saved the products, pulling them out of flooded basements until it became dangerous.

The correspondent of the North. Realia visited one of the largest meat industries in Murmansk - the company "Outskirts", which ended up at the epicenter of the elements. The entrance to the workshops and warehouses of the enterprise is flooded, like a large transport platform in front of it, abandoned vans are in the water. Now the entrance to the territory is through a freshly made hole in the fence, to which the steps are dug up on a steep slope right in the ground, and then along the narrow wooden bridges over the formed lake.

As one of the employees of the enterprise said, this situation lasts about a week.

- The first days we were taken to the workshops in boats. They sat on rubber boats by the road, rode to buildings. At the end of the shift is the same back. Then these bridges were built, we walk along them.

The general director of the enterprise Anton Kazinov says that since 1996, when an enterprise was located here, there has never been such an emergency.

There is no help from the authorities or the Ministry of Emergencies, we fight themselves

- We continue to work in almost complete composition. Here are the generators at the top, there is electricity. The workshops themselves did not flood the warehouses. But everything is in the water around. There is neither from the authorities or the Ministry of Emergencies, they are fighting themselves. But we can do it. We are waiting for the flood to subside, nothing to do with this water until she leaves.
