The main theme of the XIV Krasnoyarsk Fair of Book Culture (Kryakk) will be “New Ethics”. The fair will be held from November 4 to 8, 2020 at the Siberian Ministry of Internal Affairs and at other sites of Krasnoyarsk.
This was reported by the organizers of the fair, the Mikhail Prokhorov Foundation.
Participants of Kryakk-2020 are invited to study the process of collision of new reality and the usual set of ethical values that has been happening here and now, which gave rise to stress in society in all areas of life.
The fair program covers the most acute issues of the new ethics facing society: what is a “new sensitivity”, which we owe many cases “insulting feelings” and why in some cases we treat these feelings respectfully, and in others we consider these claims to manipulations of various actors? What is equality today, when some groups of society require “more than others, equality” in the name of correcting the injustice of the past?
In the focus of the programs and issues of the feminist movement about safety and freedom, the advantages and dangers of digital ethics, as well as a process in which entire layers of culture of the past can be inappropriate for new ethics according to the laws of our time.
The intellectual-disposable program of KRYAKK-2020 will include round tables, lectures, presentations of special projects and new publications. Professionals from different fields will tell their work in the field of new ethics: historians, culturalists, sociologists, economists, urbanists, museum specialists, writers.
