President Vladimir Putin did not return to normal work with face-to-face meetings after the lifting of quarantine in Moscow, his press secretary Dmitry Peskov told reporters. A recording of his response is published by Mayak radio.

“Of course, this time is not far off. It cannot be ruled out that some elements of the current mode of communication from the point of view of saving time, from the point of view of speed, they can be partially used at various levels in the future, why not, from the point of view of optimizing work. There is no specific date for the head of state; it depends on his decision,” Peskov said.

Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin lifted the quarantine from June 9. Open Media claimed that the mayor accelerated the lifting of quarantine at the request of officials from the presidential administration, since “people need to exhale after isolation before voting” on amendments to the Constitution, which will take place from June 25 to July 1.
