Petersburg: During the dismantling of the SCC, the worker suffered

When dismantling the sports and concert complex "Petersburgsky" (SKK), a worker was injured, it was crushed by a pile, writes Fontanka.

According to the publication, in the 18-year-old young man a spine is broken, he is in serious condition. The incident happened on the evening of June 11, the details are unknown. According to Fontanka, the worker came to Russia from Tajikistan, he is an employee of the Baltic Syndicate company, a subcontractor of dismantling work.

SKK began to be dismantled on January 31. On the first day of work, a roof fell, which damaged 80% of the building. One worker died-29-year-old resident of Karelia Matvey Kucherov. The Investigative Committee demanded to initiate a criminal case on the collapse of the building. Despite the tragedy of St. Petersburg, they refused to terminate the concession agreement with SKA Arena. The destruction of the complex, according to officials, is an “insufficient base” for early termination of the contract with the investor.
