The closer July 1, the more drama acquires the upcoming action called popular vote. Actually, the dramaturgy was laid from the very beginning, when for some reason the authorities needed to amend the current constitution. No one understood what the meaning was. The largest constitutionalists in detail analyzed the proposed amendments and proved that their introduction changes the essence of the inviolable first chapters of the constitution.

The meaning cleared up when the murder of the presidential term was declared by V.V. Putin.

From this moment, the change in the basic law of the country has become a challenge for each citizen of Russia.

It was not possible to crank the operation quickly, as planned, Coronavirus intervened. But they were not going to postpone. In the conditions of the pandemic, which has not yet been declined, they came up with “protective” measures that gave the entire voting procedure an absolutely caricatured look, and most importantly, most difficult to control the observers.

The situation was even more aggravated by polls by public opinion, which is probably introduced to Putin. They show that the possibility of power to lose voting really exists.

And then heavy guns hit. Nikolai Patrushev, a representative of the glorious bodies of the INCVD -KGB -FSB -FSB, gave an interview to the newspaper Arguments and Facts, in which he actually accuses all opponents of the corrections to the Constitution, the Russian opposition, the leaders of the protest movement and non -governmental public organizations are committed to the Western “democratic values ​​and ideals of freedom”.

With this statement, Patrushev put himself on the first roles in the political arena. Maybe the security forces want to play their own game in this troubled period and intercept power?

But no, the Kremlin is in the know. When asked about whether such statements are supported in the Kremlin, Peskov replied: "Of course."

Participants in the intelligentsia congress published an appeal to Russian citizens in defense of the main values ​​of the Constitution of the Russian Federation on the Echo of Moscow website. It was signed by dozens of famous representatives of civil society: cultural figures, scientists, journalists, human rights activists, politicians. Among them Lyudmila Ulitskaya, Dmitry Bykov, Oleg Basilashvili, Leah Akhejakova, Viktor Shenderovich, Andrey Makarevich, Andrey Smirnov, Vladimir Mirzoev, Lev Shlosberg, Mikhail Kasyanov, Boris Vishnevsky, Dmitry Gudkov and many, many others. This document unites everyone who categorically does not accept amendments - both those who will vote against them, and those who believe that this humiliating procedure should simply be ignored.

The statement emphasizes that the unification of all opposition forces is now acute. Ahead of the elections in which we must put an end to all these games of power and special services. A year before the elections to the State Duma of the Russian Federation, it is necessary to ensure that they go in accordance with the main provisions of the Constitution, enshrined in its first two chapters. So that all parties are registered and admitted to the elections. To make all the filters and restrictions aimed at disabilities to the elections of opposition candidates and dissenting civil activists.
