A 12-year-old girl was killed in the Krasnoyarsk Territory. Previously, she turned to the police due to rape and threats, but the matter was not aroused

The girl’s family in the Krasnoyarsk Territory, who was found on June 1 of this year with signs of rape, twice contacted the police with statements about rape and threats of murder, but the initiation of cases was refused. This was reported on the website of the prosecutor's office of the region.

The Investigative Committee of the Krasnoyarsk Territory after the death of the girl canceled the refusal to initiate a rape case, which was issued in June 2019.

Also, according to the results of the prosecutor’s inspection, a decision was canceled to refuse to initiate a criminal case on threats of murder “expressed to the deceased in February 2020”. The police will conduct an additional check.

“It has been established that the bodies of the system for the prevention of neglect and the offenses of the minors of the district, in violation of the requirements of the legislation, did not carry out individual work with adolescents who came into conflict with the law [...]. To eliminate violations of the law and attract the perpetrators, the district prosecutor to the head of the Shushensky district, the head of the Department of Education of the Shushensky district and the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia Shushensky were introduced, ”the report said.

On May 30, a 12-year-old girl disappeared in the village of Nizhnyaya Koya Shushensky district of the region. On June 1, her body with signs of rape was found in an abandoned fireman in the Shushensky district. On the same day, law enforcement officers detained a 25-year-old local resident who gave a confession, then a 19-year-old local resident was detained, who also confessed to the crime. They later reported that a 14-year-old teenager participated in the commission of the crime.
