The prisoner who spoke about beating at IK-27 was found in Finland. He asked for political asylum

The convicted Mikhail Golikov, who complained to Vladimir Putin about torture in IK-27 of the Krasnoyarsk Territory and disappeared on May 4, crossed the border with Finland, where he asked for political asylum. He reported this "MBH Media".

I voluntarily surrendered to the authorities, said that I crossed the border. I walked three kilometers along the road, saw that Finns summer residents were working there, and asked them for help, asked to call the police. I waited near the 214 plots, sat on a stone and waited for the police. Three cars drove up, I gave up to them, introduced myself, who I am, ”Golikov said.

According to him, he had documents for someone else's name, but he immediately told the police that they were not his. Currently, he lives in a room in a hostel and receives social benefits, as well as food and hygiene products.

“I am not arrested, not detained, I go freely. The only thing I have to pass 14-day quarantine, ”Golikov explained.

In early May, the Federal Penitentiary Service reported that Golikov disappeared from hospital No. 1 in the city of Achinsk, Krasnoyarsk Territory. According to the department, he left the medical institution on May 4 at 0:30.

In August 2019, employees of the correctional center beat Golikov and tried to make a criminal case on extorting from other prisoners. Initially, the matter was not initiated, since the convicts who wrote statements after liberation said that they were forced to do this. In December 2019, the FSIN employees allegedly found new victims and started the case on Golikov about extortion. On February 5, 2020, a criminal case was opened against three IK-27 employees due to the beating of Golikov.
