“Sochi” beat the youth team of “Rostov” with a score of 10:1

Football club "Sochi" beat "Rostov" with a score of 10:1 in the match of the 23rd round of the Russian Premier League (RPL).

Football players of the youth team played for Rostov, since the main squad has been in quarantine since June 17 after six players were diagnosed with coronavirus.

Rostov asked Sochi to postpone the game, but was refused. The oldest player on the youth team is 19 years old, the youngest is 16.

Rostov scored the first and only goal in the first minute of the match.

According to Sports.ru, 10:1 is the biggest victory in the history of the RPL. The previous record belonged to Zenit, which beat Luch-Energia 8:1 on October 5, 2008 and Torpedo on August 9, 2014 with the same score.
