In the Leningrad region, the police detained 28 people who came to lay flowers at the memorial to the fallen on the Nevsky Piglet. This was reported to the OVD-Info hotline by one of the detainees.
The police decided that a mass action was taking place, and detained 28 people, they were taken to the police department in the Kirovsky district of the Leningrad region, they took explanations and fingerprints, but they refuse to let them go. By the time of writing the news, people have been in the department for more than five hours.
21:27 The detainees are still not released from the department. They wrote complaints about the actions of the police.
21 June 00:28 The detainees were released with protocols under the article on holding an unapproved public event (part 2 of article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses). For unknown reasons, two people are left overnight until the trial, the OVD-Info hotline was informed.
02:42 All the detainees were released, except for two, who were left at the police station until the trial.
Judging by the protocols at the disposal of the editors, the police considered the laying of flowers an uncoordinated action because of the flags, stickers and inscriptions on the cars. The protocols also indicate that the participants "discussed political issues on the topic of amendments to the Constitution." The detainees themselves deny this.
June 22 00:48 It became known that the two people left for the night were released pending trial, according to the defender from OVD-Info Dinar Idrisov. The meeting is scheduled for June 22.
The list of detainees is at the disposal of the editors
