The parade on Palace Square will begin at 10:00. More than 4.5 thousand military personnel and cadets, 100 units of equipment and 30 combat aircraft and helicopters will take part in it. The events will also be allowed by the Unarmets, who they had previously wanted to remove from participation.
During the parade, they will declare a minute of silence. The event will end with a choral performance of the song "We believed, we knew - we will win."
At 12:00 there will be a commemorative action “Victory Calling”. Drivers are offered to signal from their cars for a minute. It is assumed that train, ships and other transport will also take part in the action.
At 23:00, an artillery salute should be held at the Peter and Paul Fortress. Ten minutes before its start, the Promotion Rays will take place: enterprises urge spotlights in memory of the war.
200 veterans were invited to the parade in honor of the 75th anniversary of the Victory. Before the event, they, along with their relatives living with them, must pass a test for coronavirus.
For veterans and other invited guests in Palace Square, they equipped the rostrum - 720 people will be allowed there, they will be planted in a checkerboard pattern. Spectators should be in protective masks and gloves. At the entrance, they are planned to measure the temperature.
In front of the parade, the palace square, the stands installed on it, as well as the equipment, are promised in Smolny. The press service of the calls says that the military is provided with masks, gloves and antiseptics, however, the general rehearsal of the parade took place without protection.
On June 24, Palace Square, adjacent streets and the beginning of Nevsky Prospekt will be blocked . Access to pedestrians and motorists will be closed for security reasons.
From 9:00 to 13:00 it will not be possible to drive along the palace passage, Admiralty Avenue from Gorokhovaya Street to Nevsky Prospekt, Admiraltyan embankment and Nevsky Prospekt from Sadovaya Street to the palace passage.
