Hello, I am Oleg Smolin, and these are events, people, phenomena that have determined our lifestyle. That without which it is impossible to imagine us is even more difficult to understand. It is from this reference to Leonid Parfyonov of the same name that I propose to start. In this text, I do not pretend to be truth in the last instance, but only write about events, people, the phenomena of the decade that somehow affected my life in Mari El.

At the beginning of the new academic year in a city school under number 23, which is located in the ninth microdistrict of the capital of Mari El, collect a solemn line and announce the start of the election campaign to the Council of Pupils. The new unofficial body was established by the administration of the educational institution within the framework of the program for the development of youth self -government.

Any student over 14 years old can run for one of the 15 places of the School Duma. Candidates need to write themselves the election program for themselves, print campaign leaflets for themselves and make a presentation of their ideas made in Microsoft PowerPoint in the computer class. Pupils from the fifth to the eleventh grade can choose school chosen ones.

Young politicians talk about the abolition of a compulsory school uniform, reducing prices for pies in the buffet and an extension of changes. About 30 candidates take part in the elections, you can vote in the ballots only for half of the entire list. The Council of Pupils will hold about five meetings, at the end of the school year, the school principal will award a one -time named scholars of the chairman and deputy chairman of the department.

The Chairman of the Council of Pupils will receive from Alexander Feigin a scholarship award of 1000 rubles, her deputy only 500. Awards are awarded with the words: “For a contribution to the development of youth self -government”. According to the results of the department, the compulsory school form will not be canceled, the pies in the buffet will rise in price, but for the first time changes will appear 15 minutes long for lunch and afternoon snack.

At the end of the summer of 2010, forest fires are blazing throughout Central Russia. It comes to the point that the uncontrolled element destroys entire settlements. In Kozmodemyansk, the work of ferry crossing was stopped, regular buses in Yoshkar-Ola through Cheboksary were temporarily suspended. An emergency regime has been announced.

First of all, the delegation of the authorities goes to the Medvedevsky district, there the president communicates with local residents about the situation with forest fires, and then, together with the head of the region, examines the fields and reflects on the prospects for the development of agriculture. In Yoshkar-Ola, Dmitry Medvedev awards the Ministry of Emergencies and other departments for the fight against forest fires.

At the same time, in the regional segment of the Internet there are rumors and “ducks” about the fact that it was supposedly Leonid Markelov who accidentally set fire to the forest Mari El, when he celebrated his 47th birthday on June 25. According to one version , at the festival of the ex-head of the region, which he spent in a personal country house, a box of fireworks fell and set fire to the forest, which became the reason to invite Dmitry Medvedev to visit and declare the emergency mode.
