The Temple of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation in Patriot Park near Moscow was opened to everyone a day earlier than planned due to the large number of parishioners. This is reported by Interfax with reference to the Ministry of Defense.
It was assumed that the temple would be opened for parishioners and visitors on June 25 after the Victory Parade on June 24.
“In a few hours of work (the work of what or whom, it is not specified - note by Meduza), about three thousand cars lined up in the parking lot of the unique museum complex,” the agency cites an explanation from the military department.
According to the Ministry of Defense, the temple was visited by "more than 10 thousand residents of Moscow and the Moscow region."
