Viktor Goncharenko left CSKA, although a month ago he signed a new contract with the club

Viktor Mikhailovich submitted a statement at his own request immediately after home defeat from Zenit (0: 4). But during the break of the match, he told the players that he did not see the meaning in the further work with them. His goodwill gesture looks strange only at first glance. Many forgot that he asked for resignation in March, in front of a coronavirus pause. Because he understood: in a red-blue team, he exhausted himself. The army leadership also probably realized this, but Yevgeny Giner (or Igor Shuvalov?) Convinced the 43-year-old coach in May. For what? It is incomprehensible. After all, Viktor Goncharenko in his coaching career has never been compromised and always disappeared unexpectedly. Or on time?

For example, he left the Belarusian BATE after two years of performances in the Champions League. And even the victory over Bavaria in October 2012 did not force the youngest coach in the history of the main club tournament in Europe to stay at home.

He confidently led the Krasnodar Kuban to the medals in 2013, but the southern bosses showed miracles of idiocy and fired the coach for "lack of stiffness in communicating with players." It is noteworthy that Viktor Mikhailovich also showed the lack of notorious stiffness in the Urals, which was headed in June 2015. But after three months he flew to Minsk, deciding not to participate in the strange match “Ural” - “Terek”, where his wards had to “repay the debt” over the past season.

The octing duel, to which attention was focused even in Europe, ended with a draw. The fans of the “bumblebees” admired by the fundamentalness of the coach wrote a letter to him to stay, calling the real Robin Hood. But Goncharenko was adamant, and cooperation was stopped due to the discrepancy in views on the further paths of the club.

It was then that the truth -bearing from the Khoyniks drew the attention of CSKA, offering to enter the headquarters of Leonid Slutsky. Viktor Mikhailovich agreed and, not counting the six -month business trip to Ufa, which he brought to the quarterfinals of the Cup of the country, served in the sandy for 3.5 years.

After Slutsky’s departure at the end of 2016, he accepted the reins of government. And then it seemed that Evgeny Giner once again guessed with a mentor. CSKA took second place, tearing a ticket to the Champions League from Zenit. At the same time, it was clear that a thoughtful specialist joined the process one hundred percent.

The next season, he again led CSKA to silver and delighted the public with two zero victories over Real Madrid, which, however, brought nothing but premium. And then to bribe Goncharenko players, like those that Slutsky had. And, I'm sure the matter would go to gold.

But CSKA dragged on a belt, offering to forge victories from what is. The Army Super Cups-2018 took, but the fans dreamed, of course, about something else.

And in the championship there was a fourth place with a ticket to the 2019 Europa League, where 1: 5 from the Bulgarian “Ludogorets” and other unpleasant moments occurred. But the main thing: almost all football players (from Akinfeev to Fernandez) stopped listening and hearing a coach, who was increasingly watching a dull rolling of the ball without getting up from the chair.

But a year earlier, CSKA fought in the 1/4 finals. And even led in Moscow 2-0 with the London Arsenal in a return match. True, then there were also Musa, Pontus Vernblum, Natho, Golovin and Berezutsky brothers with Ignashevich.

Winter-2020 almost turned into bankruptcy for the army, but the VEB, which took control of the team, saved the situation. But - did not change.

Despite the statements of Igor Shuvalov that the new sponsor will again make a superglub from CSKA, today there is no clarity in who steers the process in the offices and answers, for example, for transfers:

Shuvalov, Giner, Babaev or Bankers from VEB? Moreover, there are no serious transfers, as already mentioned. Unless the Paulino Granero trainer left for the physical training.

And the nervous Goncharenko, starting in November, earned a couple of disqualifications due to conflicts with the judges, as if bewildering to dismiss. And at a press conference, he somehow dropped the phrase: "I do not need such CSKA." But Giner then did not succumb: "I will not remove the coach."

Unfortunately, Viktor Goncharenko could not prepare a team for a place in the Champions League. Spring began as sadly as autumn ended. CSKA could not defeat the Ural house with Ufa, produced Rostov and Spartak away in the quarterfinals of the Russian Cup. Moreover, Goncharenko refused to shake his hand and congratulate Domenico Tedesko on the victory of his colleague. And even army fans of the coach condemned for an ugly gesture.

Now Goncharenko acted even more ugly. Having signed a new contract and taking on certain obligations, he threw a drowning one, including his fault, seven steps to the finish.
