Roskomnadzor drew up protocols on an article about fakes against the editor-in-chief of the publication “Magadan Speaks”

Roskomnadzor initiated two administrative cases under the article on the dissemination of unreliable information under the guise of reliable information (part 9 of article 13.15 of the Code of Administrative Offenses) against the editor-in-chief of the Magadan Speaks Tatyana Bryce. This is reported by MBKh Media with reference to the coordinator of the Human Rights Postcard Alexei Pryanishnikov.

The reason for initiating cases was the materials on the publication's website. The first report of the offense was drawn up due to the publication on March 16 about the death of a patient in the Magadan hospital, in whom doctors suspected coronavirus.

The second report, according to MBKh Media, was drawn up because of a material dated March 28 that doctors of the Magadan Regional Children's Infectious Diseases Hospital sew gauze masks for themselves and buy protective suits in auto shops.

In the protocol on this publication, Roskomnadzor quotes from a letter from the acting Minister of Health of the Magadan Region, Ivan Gorbachev. According to MBKh Media, in response to a request from Roskomnadzor, the official explained: “Sewing medical masks is carried out in all medical organizations in accordance with the order of the Ministry.”

Pryanishnikov, in a conversation with MBKh Media, also said that in a letter the head of the regional Ministry of Health assured that the doctors of the Magadan Regional Hospital were provided with sufficient medical protective equipment. At the same time, in the publication, the publication wrote about another medical institution.

"Explanation and O. Minister, confirming the tailoring of masks by doctors by order of the Ministry, excludes the unreliability of the information published on the Magadan Speaks portal, and, accordingly, confirms the absence of an offense,” MBKh media quotes the coordinator of the Human Rights Postcards.
