- Citizens, observe the social distance! - repeats the bailiff in Megaphone.
The sentence is scheduled for 11 in the morning, but people begin to gather in front of the philistine court from nine o’clock. At half past nine, there are about 50 people in front of the building. Some of them are hidden from the sun, sitting on the lawn in the shade.
The entrance to the building is fenced. Only journalists with press cards are allowed inside, the rest are waiting for the sentence on the site before the court. All entrances to the third floor where the meeting should take place are also blocked by rows of iron chairs - bailiffs are allowed only by journalists and relatives.
About 10:30 the defendants begin to come. The first to the court of the court is Sophia Apfelbaum. Following Alexey Malobrodsky and Yuri Itin. The bailiffs announce that they will not let anyone on the floor more: there are no more places taking into account the “social distance”. A low girl with curly hair asks the bailiffs to let her in, saying that she is the daughter of Malobrodsky. The setting girl first refuses, but then softens and pushes the chairs from the entrance. Another bailiff immediately approaches her:
- It was the order not to let anyone in!
“This is his daughter,” the bailiff missing the girl justifies the girl.
Then the bailiffs try not to let the wife of Alexei Malobrodsky, but this time an employee of the court is already interfering, and she is also allowed. Meanwhile, at the other entrance to the building, the lawyer of Sofia Apfelbaum Irina Provinconova persuades the bailiffs to miss the actor Anatoly Bely:
- He is the best friend of Serebrennikov! She convinces them.
The last comes Serebrennikov himself. The crowd on the street meets him with applause. When the director enters the building, chambers click in the corridor. An employee of the court, standing on a chair, shouts that it is forbidden to shoot here.
About 11 o’clock the bailiffs begin to plant in the hall of the meetings of those who were allowed for fences - only about 30 people. The rest, even relatives, are sent to the ninth floor to watch a video broadcast. Raper Oximiron-in a respirator and medical glasses with a red border-is trying to prove something to the bailiffs at the entrance to the floor, but he is also sent to watch a broadcast. He decides to wait for the verdict on the street - on the eve of the rapper called to come to the trial building two million of his subscribers.
Another musician who came to the court also did - Roman Bilyk from the group "Beasts". “This business is illegal and wrong, it just looks like a circus with the performance interspersed. This is very strange, ”says Medusa Bilyk.

The musician adds that regardless of what the sentence will be, for him he is obviously wrong. “When this case began, everyone thought that now we would write all letters, guarantees and a couple of months later Cyril and all the defendants would be released. But this did not happen. And it will not happen. Therefore, the fact that people gathered here today, in no way for the verdict that has already been written, will not affect, - continues Bilyk. -For the authorities, our voice is not something important, they do not listen to it. They still do what they need. Our indignation does not affect them in no way. It affects ourselves. We see that we are here - and this is good. ”
Meanwhile, the defendants are seated in the hall: Serebrennikov sits behind the column, with their back to the hall - it is not visible from the press for the press. Apfelbaum next to Malobrodsky, at a distance from them Itin. In this order, they sit down almost every meeting. In the back rows-Anatoly Bely, who was still launched by the bailiffs, actresses Victoria Isakova and Julia Aug.
Judge Olesya Mendeleev and prosecutors are late for almost half an hour. At about 11:30, the judge begins to read the verdict. This time there are four bailiffs in the hall instead of two familiar at the past meetings.
“Kirill Semenovich Serebrennikov made fraud on an especially large scale, according to the criminal plan and the distribution of the criminal roles of silverniks, he coordinated,” Mendeleev reads.
In the second row, Sofia Apfelbaum's mother is sitting, graying a low elderly woman, in the third - wife and daughter Itina. In the first 15 minutes, the surname of the Apfelbaum does not sound, then the judge still reaches her and says:
- Apfelbaum was not aware of the criminal nature of what was happening. She had the opportunity to fulfill her duties properly, but treated them casually. Apfelbaum committed negligence.
Sighs are carried through the hall. The crowd on the street - by that time about 300 people gathered at the court building - was starting to applaud, but in the hall no sounds are heard from the outside.
To support the accused in the case of the Seventh Studio both people from the theater and cinema, and did not have a relationship: writer Dmitry Bykov, municipal deputy of the Basmanny district Lucy Stein, founder of the Hospice Charity Foundation "Vera" Federmeser, journalist Victoria Ivleva, singer Musya Totibadze, politician Ilya Yashin.
The alleged provocateurs also appeared - a group of girls in T -shirts with a portrait of Vysotsky and the inscription “Cashed out” came to the court. They told reporters that the defendants in the case should be found guilty. For clarifying questions - for example, who is depicted on their clothes - the girls could not answer . As it turned out, they did not hear about the play “Summer on a Summer Night”, which, according to investigators, did not put Serebrennikov.
“They were offered to go to the theater. They said that they have no time for the theater, but to come here, then there is, ”says some guy with his who came up with a laugh. They did not have time to catch the girls in T -shirts, they spent less than an hour near the court and went to the Komsomolskaya metro with a friendly crowd.
The judge continues to read. Lists the amounts of the company, but it is already barely audible. Itin, like at the previous meeting, sits, looking at the floor. The rest of the defendants look at the phones.
By that time, about 500 people had gathered on the street. The police blocked the road to the court and over and over again asks the audience not to stand on the sidewalk - this supposedly interferes with the passage of Muscovites. Nobody seems to pay attention to the words of the employees: while some are warming up on the lawn, others lined up in the store at a nearby carfire. “Probably, they never had such a stir,” they comment on the crowd. Very soon there is no water left in the store, only Coca-Cola.
From time to time the audience applaud. But the mood of the Beshchansky court building is alarming. Actress Polina AUG, whose mother Julia at that moment is in the courtroom, tells Medusa that the case of the Seventh Studio is nothing but the thought of the “maximum concentration of absurdity”.
“It is clear that I personally can’t help right now. But at the same time, I continue to wait, believe and hope for a miracle. But most likely, it will not happen - it really hurts, ”says Aug. - The only thing I can do is to be here and express my support. If you observe how much it takes - there are almost three years - and there are no fewer people. This just says that people are more and more people who are not indifferent. You hear, applaud? This just says that, although a little of us on the country's scale, we are. And I really hope that it will not fade away. "
“Unfortunately, apparently the sentence will be accusatory. We hope that the punishment will be at least conditional, ”Meduza says musician Anton Sevidov. - The worst thing is that we are at the point when it really happens. Three years ago it seemed completely impossible that people who are innocent, with creative people who know the whole world and who obviously do not resemble criminals, could happen. This is very scary. "
The actors of the Seventh Studio refuse to comment on reporters, explaining that they said so much during the time.
A group of girls with multi -colored hair helps to discharge the situation a little - they began to dance to the music. They are joined by several people who came to support the defendants. “We are doing dancing, and for us this is a way of communication. This is the only thing we can, ”explains one of the girls who introduced himself to the Medusa Elsa. She says that for her and friends, dance is a “manifestation of freedom” and a call to her. Elsa itself comments as follows: “This is a sur, a performance. It is impossible to imagine. All that remains is to sympathize and somehow participate. ”
At the same time, Mendeleev reads the position of the defendants in the courtroom: all the performances were staged, the Apfelbaum was not supposed to control financial transactions, and Serebrennikov was not related to the distribution of funds. The wife of Yuri Itina, who also helped with accounting, reacts more emotional to her words. She often drops her head in her arms, holds her whiskey, her daughter strokes her on the shoulder. The prosecutor Mikhail Reznichenko at that time sways in a chair and looks around the hall - he is clearly bored.
The judge proceeds to the testimony of Nina Maslyaeva, the only person involved in the case that pleaded guilty:
“Itin asked Maslyaev to establish cash flow out, and Serebrennikov said that his connections would help to avoid control,” Mendeleev reads, “as a result, about 120 million rubles were abducted by Malobrodsky, Serebrennikov and Itin, and she herself abducted five million rubles.
Following the testimony of Maslyaeva, the judge reads the second chief accountant of the Seventh Studio Tatyana Zhirikova and another accountant Larisa Voikina. They refer to numerous violations of the accounting of the Seventh Studio. Mendeleev begins to read the testimonies of other important witnesses of the prosecution - for example, Dmitry Doroshenko, who, according to investigators, was engaged in cashing out funds.
“Serebrennikov asked Doroshenko whether his companies are reliable [for cashing out means],” the judge reads.

When Doroshenko testified in court, he claimed that this question is "Are your companies reliable?" - In the same formulation, he was asked both Malobrodsky, and Serebrennikov, and Itin. Then this phrase caused laughter in the hall, but now no one laughs: the Apfelbaum is listening, leaning against the column, Malobrodsky - crossing his arms over his chest.
In opposite corners of the hall are two very similar men in black caps, gray t -shirts and dense dark masks. They are the only one allowed to stand when pronouncing a sentence. But who they are is completely incomprehensible. Not even all journalists and relatives were allowed into the hall. In one of the breaks, the Medusa correspondent asks one of the men in a gray T -shirt, from which publication he is or whose relative he is. He refuses to answer, "to preserve the intrigue."
The crowd is growing in front of the court. Some go for food. Others, tired of the sun, move to the other side of the street - in the shadow. “Dude makes content, makes a movie, fills young people with such ideas. Such people, it seems to me, should live at large and inspire people, ”a young man in round darkened glasses and a mask tells reporters, on which a pacifist symbol of the world is drawn. “But no violence, of course, is only a peaceful path,” the guy summarizes.
By four o'clock, people gather again at the court building. The police revive and asks for the loudspeaker: “Dear citizens, a convincing request - to move away from the sidewalk. Do not interfere with the passage of other citizens. ” “Free our colleagues,” the girl from the crowd shouts in response.
The audience begins to return to the hall. A guy in a white T -shirt with a portrait of Vladimir Vysotsky unexpectedly sits on a bench and the inscription “Cashed out = stole” and below “The thief should sit in prison”. Exactly the same as the girls in court. The lawyers Karpinskaya and the Uvreinov ask the bailiffs to bring him out, believing that he is a provocateur.
“Is he a journalist or a relative?” - they prove to the bailiffs. - Why is he in such a T -shirt? We could also walk with inscriptions!
The bailiffs are trying to send a young man to the ninth floor, but he refuses to leave:
- Do we have a closed meeting? Let the judge say then that the closed, ”he says.
As a result, he really remains in the hall. When the judge Mendeleeva again enters the hall, eight bailiffs are already lined up at the entrance.
- The fault of the defendants has been proved, all investigative actions were carried out in accordance with the procedural norms, there were no violations of the law and the impacts on witnesses, - this time Mendeleeva's voice sounds cheerful, she reads quickly and loudly enough. - There is no reason to believe that witnesses stipulate the defendants, the facts of pressure on witnesses were not confirmed. The court also considers it established that a criminal group with multi -stage training and systematic activity was organized. The arguments of the defense that all the money was spent on the [Theater Project] Platform cannot be accepted.
They froze in the hall. No one is looking at the phone anymore. Wife and daughter Itina hold each other's hands tightly. The lawyer of Lesser Ksenia Karpinskaya listens, turning away from the judge. Even usually the calm lawyer Serebrennikov Dmitry Kharitonov seems to be nervous.
“The imprisonment should be applied to Serebrennikov, Itina and Malobrodsky,” the judge reads. It seems that everyone in the hall held their breath. - But correction is possible without serving a sentence.
In the crowd near the court building, the girl shouts: "A conditional term!" People are not immediately, but begin to applaud. Only a few minutes later they manage to believe in a reality of a conditional term.
Judge Mendeleev continues to read: Serebrennikov, Itin and Malobrodsky are found guilty. Serebrennikov receives three years conditionally and 800 thousand rubles of a fine. Itin - three years conditionally and 200 thousand fines. Malobrodsky - two years conditionally and 300 thousand rubles of a fine. All three are forbidden to change their place of residence without notifying regulatory authorities, all three should register. Malobrodsky and Itin are banning administrative activities in cultural institutions for two years. Sofya Apfelbaum awards a fine of 100 thousand, but frees it from it due to the expiration of the statute of limitations.

“Satisfy the civil lawsuit of the Ministry of Culture,” Mendeleev reads. - To recover from the defendants Serebrennikov, Itina and Malobrodsky 128.9 million rubles. Arrests on the property of Serebrennikov, Malobrodsky and Itin cannot be canceled before the decision of the court to recover.
The judge transfers the arrested property: accounts, Toyota Camry and Serebrennikov’s apartment in Berlin, Malobrodsky accounts and ŠKODA, ITINA property - except for accounts, these are a necklace, earrings and several more jewelry with Tiffany diamonds.
- The defendants, understanding the sentence? - asks Mendeleev. - The meeting is closed.
People quickly gather around the lawyers: the actor is white and several girls hug and kiss Serebrennikov, my wife Itina hugs Apfelbaum, the lawyer of the Porovinenova is crying. Malobrodsky’s wife says to someone with a laugh:
- Let them now subtract 45 million from Less Brill from a pension of 14 thousand.
- Mom has a birthday today. This is a gift for her, - Apfelbaum smiles.
“That's it, now home, we will lick the wounds,” says Itina's wife.
“There was such a writer, Fedor Mikhailovich Dostoevsky, he was also taken to the execution,” says Itin, collecting things.
The crowd on the street does not disperse. Kirill Serebrennikov and lawyer Dmitry Kharitonov go down the stairs-hundreds of those gathered are visible in the window, the bailiffs offer to withdraw it through another entrance, but in the end he still goes to people. The crowd applaudes, Serebrennikov thanks everyone for support.
“Each person who is here is very important and valuable for everyone, please observe the social distance, please do not infect each other, because you have to fight for the truth,” he says, turning to the crowd. In response, journalists ask him to move away from the court building and give him a comment. The director first agrees, but then suddenly gets into the car for everyone and leaves.
The crowd of the philistine court is noticeably reduced. There are few to wait for other accused - Malobrodsky, Itina and Apfelbaum. Only police officers who have embraced along the road do not diverge.
“Citizens, free the sidewalk,” one of the police officers repeats to the megaphone. On the asphalt, nearby is bred by a white chalk: "Freedom to Cyril!"
