
The former chairman of the regional Union of Journalists Igor Sidorov, who headed the organization from 1994 to 2002, died in St. Petersburg. The Union website says that Sidorov died of coronavirus.
"According to our information, he became one of the victims of the Covid -19 epidemic," the website of the Union of Journalists in St. Petersburg reports.
