Against this background, Russian President Vladimir Putin decided to remove the federal “non-working days” regime from May 12, transferring all restrictions to the regional level, and also announced a parade on June 24 in honor of the 75th anniversary of victory in the Great Patriotic War . Putin also scheduled a "nationwide vote" on July 1 to change the constitution , which would allow him to run for president until 2036.
