The number of business jets from April to June grew from 400 to 850 per month, says RBC with reference to sources at airports. In the largest Moscow terminal for a business aviation in Vnukovo, the number of flights increased almost three times and reached 669.
Now people at work can fly abroad, for study or treatment abroad - such concessions in early June were accepted by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin. To organize a business jet, you need to receive a separate resolution of the Federal Air Transport Agency, but they are issued according to a simplified scheme, says RBC source. But whether the flight will end up, depends mainly on the receiving side, writes the newspaper: the European Union accepts only citizens or people with a residence permit, and the USA or Great Britain with passengers and with conventional visas.
They wanted to restore regular air traffic from July 15, but Rospotrebnadzor has not yet approved this decision, RBC sources say. The Minister of Transport Yevgeny Dietrich said on Friday that air traffic from Russia could resume in July, subject to the security of air travel inside the country. “I expressed the hope that such a discovery is possible in July ... Hope is still alive,” he said.
