The Presnensky District Court of Moscow placed former assistant to the head of Rosselkhoznadzor Dmitry Natarov under house arrest until August 25 in the case of seducing a 13-year-old girl. This was reported by the Moscow agency with reference to the press service of the court.
Natarov is accused of receiving a bribe (Article 290 of the Criminal Code) and committing indecent acts of a sexual nature against a minor (Article 135 of the Criminal Code).
In April, Secretary of the General Council of United Russia Andrei Turchak asked the head of Rosselkhoznadzor Dmitry Patrushev to fire Natarov due to suspicions of seducing a minor. On the same day, the assistant to the head of Rosselkhoznadzor was fired from his position.
Earlier, REN TV reported that Natarov raped a 13-year-old schoolgirl, who was the daughter of his friends, for several years. According to the TV channel, the case was opened only a year after the application was submitted to the Investigative Committee. REN TV claimed that Natarov had previously “slowed down” the investigation with the help of his high position.
