In two districts of Moscow, more than 600 ballots were canceled due to violations during voting at home

More than 600 ballots of participants in voting on amendments to the Constitution were canceled in two districts of Moscow due to violations during home voting. This was announced by the head of the public headquarters for voting control in Moscow, Ilya Massukh.

“In one of the districts, the number of home-based voters who voted on papers was 10 times lower than the number of ballots that were brought. We canceled more than 600 votes at two polling stations,” Massukh said at a meeting with a group of foreign experts (quote from Interfax).

Massukh did not specify in which districts of Moscow ballots were annulled. Earlier on June 30, the Moscow City Electoral Committee reported that 436 ballots had been canceled at polling stations No. 2771 and No. 2773 in Ramenki. In addition, the IPCC invalidated five ballots at polling station No. 1403 in Lefortovo, where the data of members of one family were mistakenly included in the lists of those who voted outside the polling station.

• On June 29, a member of the Territorial Election Commission (TEC) in Ramenki, Kirill Trofimov, said that in some polling stations in the district, the data on the number of participants in home voting in the TEC reports differ significantly from the information in the PEC documents.
• After the Moscow City Electoral Committee canceled ballots at two polling stations in Ramenki, Kirill Trofimov told Open Media that at half of the 39 polling stations in the district, uncanny numbers of home-based voting were found.
