Former accountant of the Seventh Studio Nina Maslyaeva was sentenced to two years and three months in prison. She was released from punishment

The Meshchansky Court of Moscow sentenced the former accountant of the Seventh Studio, Nina Maslyaeva, to two years and three months in prison and freed her from punishment, RIA Novosti reports.

The judge found Maslyaeva guilty of embezzlement of funds allocated for the implementation of the theatrical project "Platform".

The prosecutor's office requested that the accountant be sentenced to two years and three months in prison and released from punishment in connection with serving the term at the investigation stage in a pre-trial detention center and under house arrest.

• On June 26, the Meshchansky Court delivered a verdict in the Seventh Studio case. Kirill Serebrennikov, Yuri Itin, Alexei Malobrodsky were given suspended sentences and fines. Sofya Apfelbaum was fined, from which she was released due to the expiration of the statute of limitations.
• The case of the former chief accountant of the Seventh Studio, Nina Maslyayeva, was singled out as a separate proceeding, since she was the only one of all the defendants who pleaded guilty, making a deal with the investigation.
