The RTVI channel has a new general producer. What does it mean?

However, the development of personal projects on which I have been focused on recently requires a lot of time and effort, which makes it difficult to fulfill the duties of the editor -in -chief of RTVI. Pivovarov headed the channel in 2016 and actually restarted it. During his work, the audience of the channel grew from 6.5 million spectators to 12 million - a huge success was evident, and it seemed that nothing portended the departure from RTVI not only a well -known and authoritative journalist, but also an effective manager.

In June, the journalist Stanislav Kucher, who came there in 2018 and was engaged in the development of the New York edition of RTVI, was appointed head of the information broadcasting of the channel. Now, according to the RTVI press service, it will lead the block of information and socio-political programs.

“My task is to make RTVI not only successfully worked out the current political agenda, but also formed it itself. We must serve as a platform for acute discussions about the future of Russia and the world, ”Kucher said, commenting on his appointment.

So far, analysts and fans of Pivovarov were wondering what the personnel permits are actually connected with and how the RTVI software policy would continue to develop, the truly sensational news arrived, which first seemed to be a fake or someone’s stupid joke: the musician and the head of the Leningrad group Sergey Shnurov (aka cord) was appointed general producer.

However, the news was quickly confirmed by the press service: yes, the owner of RTVI, businessman in the field of entertainment and real estate, Mikael Isralyan, who is “sure that with the advent of Sergei RTVI will be able to find his new unique intonation and the original content look” made an offer. “The task of the new general producer is to work with the channel’s team on the main task of the holding - the unification of millions of people around the world through general cultural content.”

RTVI broadcasts in 53 countries of the world and plans in the near future under the leadership of Shnurov to develop broadcasting on the west coast of the United States, as well as strengthen its presence in Europe, Armenia and Georgia.

In 2010, he, along with Yuri Dudem, conducted a program about the Football “Cults of Hurray” on the Match-TV channel. In 2016, too, unexpectedly for everyone became the host of the daily pop show show “About Love” on Channel One. In 2018, he became one of the mentors of the music show “Voice”.
