The Dorogomilovsky District Court of Moscow extended until August 6 the arrest of Vladimir Vorontsov, the author of the public page “Police Ombudsman”, in the case of extortion (Parts 1 and 2 of Article 163 of the Criminal Code). This was reported by MBKh Media.

The investigation insisted on extending the arrest for a month, whose position was supported by the prosecutor. Lawyer of “Human Rights Postcard” Sergei Badamshin asked the court to change the preventive measure to house arrest or a ban on certain actions.
