The CEC approved the results of the voting under the Constitution. Amendments supported almost 78% of Russians

At a meeting on Friday, the Central Election Commission of Russia adopted a resolution on approval of the results of an all -Russian vote on amendments to the Constitution. It is reported by TASS.

According to the document, according to the results of the vote, the amendments supported 77.92% of the voted, 21.27% spoke out against changes to the basic law. The final turnout at the vote was 67.97%.

Official vote on a change in the Constitution was scheduled for July 1, while formally the so -called “early” vote began on June 25 - the day after the Victory Parade.

According to the results of online voting in Moscow, 62.33%spoke for amendments, against 37.67%. In the Nizhny Novgorod region, they remotely voted for 59.69%, against - 40.31%. The amendments to the Constitution received the greatest support in Chechnya and Tuva, where more than 93% of the voting participants supported them.

Electronic voting was accompanied by reports that many citizens were able to vote more than once. For example, the Muscovite was able to vote twice in London: at the Russian embassy and electronically. After that, there was a message that in Israel the Russian woman took part in the vote three times. The rain journalist Pavel Lobkov also voted twice. After that, police officers came to his house, who interviewed him as part of the case of the illegal receipt of the ballot. The Kremlin stated that cases of repeated voting would not affect its legitimacy.
