The deputy head of the Ministry of Education and Science Marina Lukashevich was detained in the fraud case. According to the investigation, more than 40 million rubles were stolen, TASS reports .

According to the investigation, in 2016 Lukashevich agreed to carry out work in the interests of the ministry, received money and concluded a number of contracts for the performance of work, but did not fulfill the obligations in full. An accomplice of Lukashevich, who held a leadership in the department, was accepting work that did not comply with the terms of the contracts.
