Zamoskvoretsky District Court of Moscow returned the protocols drawn up for participants in single pickets against police violence, which took place on July 2 at the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Petrovka. This was announced by MBH Media by lawyer Mansur Gilmanov.
“The situation is such that they conducted a single picket, the queue for the picket is not a violation. The judge wrote that it did not indicate what a mass event was, what it was connected with and [what] the number of participants. Our position in the police department was such that it was a single picket. The judge did not see a sign of mass in a single picket, ”Gilmanov said.
On July 2, more than 20 people were detained by the building of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Moscow, who went to single pickets against police violence. The reason for the action was the murder of a resident of Yekaterinburg Vladimir Taushankov by the employees of the Russian Guard.
It was reported that Taushankov was suspected of theft of wallpaper from the store. The fighters of the Russian Guard shot a man during the assault on the apartment. According to the father of the murdered, when the security forces tried to break the door, his son sprayed them from a gas spray. In response, they opened fire. “They shot through the door, about four times,” said Taushankov’s father. Posthumously against Taushankov opened a criminal case of violence against representatives of the authorities (Article 318 of the Criminal Code). On the fact of the murder of the Yekaterinburg, they refused to initiate a matter.
