The Simonovsky District Court of Moscow recovered from the employees of the Corruption Fund (FBK) Lyubov Sobol and Georgy Alburov 4.7 million rubles in favor of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the work of police officers and attracting equipment for the action on August 3, the MBH Media correspondent reports.

“It was established that the defendants were the organizers of the inconsistent public event on August 3, which was due to which 3026 employees of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Moscow, at non-working time, were asked to notice. In total, 5326 employees and 3801 units of transport were involved. It was an uncontrolled event with unknown consequences, ”said the representative of the plaintiff.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs demanded 6 million rubles from Sobol and Alburov. Initially, the police asked to recover 18 million rubles in two claims, then the plaintiffs reduced the amount of claims to 9.7 million rubles, and then increased to 10.2 million rubles.

“On the day of the rally, I sat on a hot line and advised the mothers of those who were beaten with batons, people who were beaten by comrades for attempts to shoot. I performed duties there and do not demand to recover money from the Ministry of Internal Affairs for this. And the Ministry of Internal Affairs requires. The Ministry of Internal Affairs does not understand the simple principle that it was their duty. The Ministry of Internal Affairs is trying to recover most of the money in favor of those organizations to which it has nothing to do with - these are territorial bodies that are independent units, ”said the FBK lawyer Alexander Pomazuev.

Earlier, Mosgortrans, the GBU "Roads" and the metro filed claims against Sobol and Alburov totaling about 4 million rubles. For the first two claims from the FBK employees, 657 thousand and 1.5 million rubles were recovered, respectively.
