Kuzbass: a member of a hunger strike against Uglestanii was hospitalized

A member of a hunger strike, protesting against the construction of a carbon carrier station near the village of Cheremza in the Kemerovo region, was hospitalized. Alina Morozova became bad, the editorial office of Siberia said. One of the participants in the protest Vyacheslav Krechetov.

Morozova, one of the first to join the protest, previously reported that "she buried her five acquaintances from cancer" and did not want to die herself. On July 1, another participant in the protest against coal mining in Kuzbass, Nadezhda Shirokova, announced the deterioration of the condition. She caused an ambulance due to the fall of sugar in the blood, but refused hospitalization and continued an unlimited hunger strike. In total, six people refused food.

Protesters who defeated the tent town near the village of Cheremza report an attempt to provocations. The day before, two people came to them, who introduced themselves as "bloggers from Krasnoyarsk." They tried to go to the territory where activists live without permission. The conflict was resolved with the help of a police officer. People fear that the authorities could send provocateurs to them, and later stop the hunger strike, announcing the outbreak of coronavirus in the area.

• On June 24, residents of the Kuzbass village of Cheremza announced an indefinite hunger strike due to a refusal to remove equipment from the construction site of the carbon station and resigned the head of the Novokuznetsk district Andrei Sharnin. They require stopping work.
• Earlier in Kuzbass, residents of the villages blocked traffic on two roads, one leads to a future carbon cargo station near the city of Myski, the second to the section. They organized night duty and set up a tent camp. As a result, the equipment could not drive up to the place of work. However, on June 16, work resumed.
• About 60% of all Russian coal are mined in Kuzbass. About 150 mines, sections and enrichment factories work here. Over the past six months, coal has fallen in price by 54%, prices have also fallen in European markets. The reason was the warm winter, the cheaper gas and rising prices for emissions of CO2.
