The cousin of the President of Russia Roman Putin became the head of the party "People against Corruption." The decision was voiced at the party’s congress on July 5: Putin was chosen by secret vote for a five -year term.

The candidacy of his nephew Vladimir Putin was approved in early July. On the party’s website they wrote: “Roman Igorevich has extensive experience in public and political activities, in the field of public service. Effective entrepreneur. The party will receive a new impetus in the development of anti -corruption activities, the implementation of various social projects. ” Roman Putin at the same time joined the “people against corruption” on June 21 - two weeks before the election.

In March, Kommersant reported that Roman Putin, an entrepreneur and a former FSB officer, wants to create his own party for the State Duma election. At the same time, he said that the current president is not an alternative, and he supports the idea of ​​zeroing: “We would like to promote the authorities in its positive endeavors, we fully support the president’s policy.”

Journalists of the MBH Media studied the only audit of the Personal Party against Corruption by the Ministry of Justice in 2018. Then, nine violations were found in the work of the organization, whether they were corrected is unknown.

Roman Putin is the son of a cousin of President Igor Putin. After working at the FSB, he was an adviser to the Governor of the Novosibirsk Region on a voluntary basis. In 2014, Roman Putin founded Putin Consulting Ltd in London, which soon changed its name and moved to Russia.
