The Supreme Court of Bashkortostan acquitted three picketers who demanded an operation on their friend

The Supreme Court of Bashkortostan acquitted three activists who were previously fined 1,000 rubles for “violating self-isolation” due to a picket demanding that their seriously ill friend be operated on. This was reported by MBKh Media with reference to the deputy of the Kurultai of Bashkiria Dmitry Chuvilin.

The Supreme Court acquitted Alik Sagadeev, Elena Semyonova and Andrey Fedusev. The court also replaced the fine with a warning for activist Roman Arduanov, while Regina Birgulieva and Bogdan Saidov left the fine unchanged.

In May, the Kirovsky District Court fined six picket participants 1,000 rubles under the administrative article on non-compliance with the rules of conduct in the event of a threat of an emergency (Part 1, Article 20.6.1 of the Code of Administrative Offenses).

• On April 28, relatives and friends of 19-year-old Ranel Shamsutdinov went out with a picket to the House of the Government of the Republic demanding an urgent operation on a seriously ill young man. He was diagnosed with a brain tumor, but could not be operated on, since the republican clinical hospital suitable for this was closed for quarantine due to the coronavirus. Seven participants of the picket were detained , including Shamsutdinov's sister Ralina, and protocols were drawn up against them for violating self-isolation.
• The next day, the Kirov Court issued a warning to Shamsutdinov's sister in an administrative case on violation of self-isolation and dismissed the case on organizing an uncoordinated public event due to insignificance.
