Since July 15, the Hermitage after the break opens the exhibition “ “ I erected my royal palace there ... ” Monuments of Assyrian art from the collection of the British Museum” for visitors. The entrance to the exhibition will be free.
- The State Hermitage decided that as compensation for inconvenience related to temporary restrictions, this unique exhibition will work free of charge for all individual visitors.

The exhibition presents reliefs from all significant palaces of the Assyrian kings, including Ashurnacipala II and Ashurbanipal - reliefs from the Palace of the latter are considered the top of the development of Assyrian art.
The exposition also includes applied art items - for example, the famous ivory trousers decorating palace furniture and horse harnesses. A separate section is dedicated to the library of King Ashurbanipal in Nineveh.
Routes on the main museum complex will be launched on July 15, the sale of electronic tickets will begin on the 9th. Their price will be 500 rubles. In addition to restricting flows, visitors will have to wear hygiene masks, observe the distance and buy tickets online.
