Arkady Babchenko was included in the list of extremists and terrorists

The Federal Financial Monitoring Service (Rosfinmonitoring) included journalist Arkady Babchenko in the list of terrorists and extremists. The corresponding entry appeared on July 9 in the registry, “Interfax drew attention to this.

Getting on the list involves a ban on banking operations and blocking money in accounts. What is connected with the inclusion in the Babchenko list is not specified.

Arkady Babchenko left Russia in 2017 to Ukraine. In May 2018, the media reported that Babchenko was killed in Kyiv. However, the next day, the head of the SBU Vasily Gritsak said that the journalist was alive, and the staging was part of the planned special operation to identify customers.
